The proportion of graduates in lower-skilled jobs has risen by a third in 10 years, the Office for National Statistics has revealed. In 2001, 26.7 per cent worked in lower-skilled jobs. That figure has now risen to 35.9 per cent. The unemployment rate for those who graduated in the past two years is 18.9 per cent, compared with 6.7 per cent for those two to four years ago.
